On April 23, AMO Arena Museo Opera reopened with a series of new Shows and Exhibits titled "AMO Pavarotti", "AMO L'Arena - 100 years of festivals through 200 years of Verdi", and "The Arena of Verona: a century of images and splendor."

The scenic and interactive installations installations that Touchwindow created for the museum are accompanied by enchanting melodies in order to introduce the visitor to the most prestigious times of opera in Verona, and are intended to commemorate the hundredth edition of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival and Giuseppe Verdi's two hundredth birthday.
Over 5,000 m2 of exhibition space dedicated to the opera and the great masters, with the aim of promoting and disseminating Italy’s Opera culture.
Images, documents and music, as well as original and digital documents from the Arena Foundation’s Historical Archives, dating from 1913 to 2013.
The exhibition’s entrance consists of a long corridor where the works of Verdi performed at the Arena over the past 100 years have been revived in an animated video. The images interactively follow along with the music, creating an extraordinary animation of sounds and colors.
Within the large immersive room, a large curved wall engages and electrifies public.
The nearly 15x3 m surface was designed to be architectural stage flat that envelops the user with a video in which the Arena is virtually reconstructed and several acts of Aida 2010 are projected.
The technologies utilized allow the users to immerse themselves in the scene, and to feel like they’re actually at the Arena.
Interactive multi-touch systems allow the users to view and browse through old texts and documents. The ultra-high resolution images allow the details of the drawings, miniatures and photographs to be fully appreciated.
The touchless technologies with interactive projections allow the visitors to flip through the pages of Verdi’s scores using simple hand gestures. In fact, the technology utilized detects the individual’s hands and movements, thus allowing them to interact with the multimedia contents.
Through the use of new technologies, the visitor is accompanied on a journey of learning and experimentation, discovering the Opera and the Great Masters.
