The control that increases performance
Solutions that monitor processes and acquire data to increase efficiency and security.
The DAMA – Data Manifattura Emilia-Romagna Technopole represents a hub for technological innovation in the heart of the city: a true hub within the Emilia-Romagna Data Valley, created to support companies of all sizes in the development of new products and the digital transformation process. Inside the Botti B4 building, Touchwindow has created a turnkey hardware, audio, and video infrastructure, designed to accommodate flexible and collaborative workspaces.
DAMA is located at the former Manifattura Tabacchi in Bologna, an area of over 140,000 m² of great architectural value. Within one of the arched buildings that make up the complex, known as Botti B4, Touchwindow designed a technological setup characterized by high flexibility and intended for multiple uses.
The goal was to create reconfigurable spaces capable of hosting different events, with areas dedicated to work, exhibitions, and conferences, with particular attention to showcasing emerging technologies in line with the mission of the Tecnopolo.
The Botti B4 building hosts offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, and conference halls used by the stakeholders of the Tecnopolo. To meet diverse needs, the design pursued two main objectives:
ensuring flexibility and quick reconfiguration of spaces according to the type of event;
providing automation and centralized management to simplify operation and reduce resource requirements.
Meeting rooms, welcome areas, event spaces, and the auditorium together create a multifunctional environment designed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The workspaces at Botti B4 have been designed as integrated digital ecosystems, ideal for collaboration both on-site and remotely.
The meeting rooms (Huddle Room and Medium Meeting Room) are equipped with:
professional 55” and 65” displays on motorized carts for easy reconfiguration;
videoconferencing systems sized according to room capacity;
modular microphones with RightSound technology for optimal audio quality;
additional cameras to enable smooth interaction between in-room participants and remote attendees.
Representative spaces have been outfitted with large-format displays up to 98”, OverIP audio-video distribution systems, PTZ cameras, microphone systems, and diffusion systems.
For the Auditorium, a centralized audio-video control room has been implemented, capable of managing complex events with minimal resources, while also serving as a control hub for unified management of rooms in room-combining mode.
Touchwindow designed the entire networking system and specialized cabling to support the technological infrastructure. The ecosystem has been certified to ensure 24/7 operational continuity without any data loss.
The Tecnopolo’s in-house technical staff has been trained to ensure first-level management autonomy, while Touchwindow provides on-site support with certified technicians for critical situations and a proper escalation flow to vendors.
A turnkey setup, designed to last over time, that enhances innovation through the most advanced audio-video technologies.
Solutions that monitor processes and acquire data to increase efficiency and security.
Capture audience attention and engage viewers with impactful visualization systems and integrated AVL architectures.
We design Meeting Rooms that integrate AVC hardware, software and automation solutions to physical environments, dedicated to sharing, collaboration and comparison.
When setting up meeting rooms and newly designed workspaces, the goal is to enhance the environment in which people operate, improving the quality of time spent in at work and fostering interpersonal relationships, both in-person and remotely.
Decision Rooms and Control Rooms are ideal environments for achieving the fullest potential of 3D Data Visualization techniques combined with large-format interactive systems.
In the continuous search for partners with whom to share a path of growth and valorization of interactive technologies, for over 10 years we have been collaborating with Iiyama, a leading Japanese company in the production of visualization systems.
