Pascoli: an interactive experience to discover the poet

The birthplace of Giovanni Pascoli, a national monument from 1924, is the place that has deeply marked the childhood of the poet, who lived in this house up to seven years of age. The house, built in the 18th century, was damaged during World War II and later recovered in accordance with the original structure, so it was transformed into a small museum of Pascoli’s Memories.

The visit to the home is now completed by an interactive journey. 3D reconstructions and interactive systems allow visitors to see how the home was during the childhood of the poet, and also go into the visit by reading lyrics and poetry. Pascoli's poems are masterfully recited by actor Lino Guanciale, an interactive map lets you discover the father's murder places reminded everyone thanks to the famous poetry “La Cavallina Storna“.
