Located a few steps from Vatican City, the Historical Museum of the Carabinieri Corps is a splendid gallery of iconography, a place of reflection where visitors can stimulate their curiosity by immersing themselves in two centuries of Italian history.
Documents, memorabilia, and works of art depicting prominent events in the history of the Carabinieri Corps come one after another, for a chronological and thematic itinerary that extends throughout 23 exhibition halls. Multimedia touchscreen devices allow visitors to learn more about the issues presented, and serve as an educational support for both students and scholars in the field.
