Digital ecosystems for collaborative workspaces
We design Meeting Rooms that integrate AVC hardware, software and automation solutions to physical environments, dedicated to sharing, collaboration and comparison.
Alexide, the leading company in the software solutions for the digital transformation, has choosen Touchwindow to create, in its headquarter, a training room and a meeting room: two technologically advanced Digital Workspaces.
With this collaboration, Touchwindow and Alexide, both believing in Corporate’s Digital Transformation as a natural process of evolution in the world of work, created a great synergy, which allowed the project to be completed successfully.
“Accessibility” is the concept that guided the design and the creation of this two digital environments.
The Customer’s requirement was to have two technologically cutting-edge rooms and, at the same time, two Digital Workspace easily accessible to everyone, the company team and external users, through extremely intuitive and understandable user interfaces.
The training room, in particular, is often used by the University of Bologna - Cesena Campus - for in-depth teaching sessions with students.
Touchwindow designed the audio-video architecture of both environments and designed the rack cabinet diagrams.
The training & webinar room has been equipped with a video projection system completed by a PTZ camera for filming teachers and students and a DSP audio system for managing sound flows during training activities and webinars. A 43" digital signage display acts as a reverse-field monitor for teachers; this room is complemented by a 65" multi-touch monitor for consulting, editing and sharing multimedia contents.
Triatic is the core of all A-V System. It is a Control & Automation software that can be manged from a tablet through simple and intuitive interfaces, customized for Alexide in terms of the customer's coordinated image, layout and specific operating pre-sets. Triatic allows you to control all the functions of the devices, from live remote teaching sessions to streaming ones, from microphone control to camera control.
Finally, the meeting room has been equipped with an "all-in-one" videoconferencing system which includes an 86" large-size interactive display and a Poly video-soundbar with integrated camera and microphones, for effective meetings both in person and by remote.
Once the installation of the systems was finished, we started the Audio-Video system.
The Touchwindow team provided Alexide with specific training on the use of the two rooms, summarized by digital manuals and practical simulations.
This approach ensured the Customer full autonomy in the management of the new digital solutions, guaranteeing an optimal user experience and complete ability to use, fundamental for the effectiveness and durability of the project.
