The adoption of Ledwall display systems allows for overcoming the limitations of traditional technologies (LCD, video wall modules, projection), offering tangible advantages both from a functional and design perspective. The inherent modularity of Ledwalls enables the creation of fully customizable surfaces in terms of size, format, and aspect ratio, seamlessly integrating into the architecture of the space.
In addition to these aspects, there are other key benefits: high brightness and perfect readability even in very bright environments, uninterrupted image continuity, superior color quality, deep blacks, and high contrast. All of this translates into more effective communication, capable of capturing attention, enhancing content, and reinforcing brand identity.
For End Clients, Designers, and Installers, the Ledwall is no longer just a display device but becomes a true architectural and digital element around which the spatial experience is built: a flexible, scalable, and future-oriented tool.
Over the years, display systems have taken on an increasingly central role, evolving from mere technological support to a key element of the environment, capable of making a difference in terms of impact, functionality, and perceived value.
We choose Absen’s Ledwall line when we want to achieve an extra leap in quality compared to other LEDs on the market, combining outstanding visual performance, reliability, and long-term sustainability.
For the Boardroom at the Diagram Group headquarters—the leading Italian agritech hub and one of the major players in Europe—we selected an Absen KLCOB V2 MicroLED p.1.2 Ledwall, with a total surface of 4.8 meters wide by 2 meters high. The COB Flip Chip RGB technology ensures deep blacks, visual uniformity, and complete absence of reflections, creating an immediate “wow” effect and maximizing the impact of content and branding.
The display system has been made fully multi-touch thanks to the hardware and software technologies developed by Touchwindow. The integration of the advanced touch solution allows for over 40 simultaneous interactions, transforming the Ledwall into a true collaborative interactive surface—ideal for strategic meetings, dynamic presentations, and co-creation activities.
The Ledwall has also been equipped with a VX2000 Pro Controller, capable of managing up to 12 layers of data, documents, and video streams.
"The Boardroom is the heart of our new building, where company executives gather and strategic decisions for the future of the Group are made. For this reason, during the design phase we immediately expressed our intention not to compromise on the choice of the main display system to integrate," says Dr. Alberto Stornelli, Digital Strategist & Project Manager at Diagram Group, concluding: "We are very satisfied with the LED wall installed by Touchwindow because it meets all our needs: high visual performance combined with lower energy consumption."
In addition to visual performance and energy efficiency, Absen’s Ledwall line ensures reliability, easy maintenance, and operational continuity. Overall, this means lower total cost of ownership (TCO) with higher performance.
Even for the display systems intended for the new Custom S.p.A. headquarters in Parma, we chose to rely on Absen and the MicroLED Display line, confirming our commitment to adopting cutting-edge technological solutions that combine visual impact, reliability, and sustainability.
The goal, as Carlo Stradi, President of the Custom Group, explains, was clear from the very beginning of the project: “To create a futuristic and sustainable technology hub. Over 9,000 square meters of sustainability and technological innovation.”
To meet these requirements, Absen’s KLCOB V2 MicroLED series once again proved to be the winning choice. The flip-chip COB technology enables true blacks and high contrast levels.
Moreover, KLCOB technology improves thermal efficiency compared to traditional LEDs, reducing power consumption by up to 40% and doubling reliability thanks to an optimized heat dissipation system, which significantly lowers the risk of malfunctions even during prolonged use.
“The entrance of the new headquarters is an open-space area used as the Main Hall and Reception; it serves as a business card for employees, clients, and partners. We wanted solutions with strong visual impact that could maintain consistent performance even during extended operation or even 24/7 usage,” says Carlo Stradi.
In the entrance hall, a large Ledwall was installed, measuring 6 meters wide and over 3 meters high, creating a true digital wall.
In the reception area, a second KLCOB V2 MicroLED wall in a 32:9 configuration was installed, dedicated to the Group’s corporate communications.
The same Absen Ledwall line was also used for the building’s showroom: “a deliberately cutting-edge environment, halfway between a digital showroom and a conference room, where physical products can be showcased while allowing users to interact with digital content, viewing details and configurations from different angles,” Carlo Stradi explains.
This Ledwall also serves as the main display system when the showroom is converted into an Auditorium/Conference Room: a 4K surface measuring 4.8 x 2.7 meters, equipped with HDR10 technology and capable of achieving a contrast ratio of 15,000:1.
Thanks to COB (Chip On Board) technology and the protective front resin coating, Absen Ledwalls offer a more uniform and durable surface compared to traditional solutions. This feature allowed Touchwindow to successfully integrate high-performance IR touch systems along the perimeter of the display.
Through the use of its proprietary technologies and software, Touchwindow transformed Diagram’s Ledwall from a simple digital signage system into a multi-user interactive platform. The result is a large-format touch surface that is precise and responsive, capable of supporting simultaneous interactions and advanced collaborative scenarios.
Interactive Ledwall solutions thus become enabling tools for advanced presentations, corporate environments, retail spaces, and experiential venues, allowing users to interact directly with the displayed content and enjoy an immersive, natural, and engaging experience
To ensure maximum efficiency and functionality for the client, while fully enhancing the user experience, an integrated design approach is essential—one that combines technical, engineering, and creative expertise.
When integrating Absen technologies into video installations, we can always rely on dedicated technical support that works in synergy with Touchwindow’s Solution Architects to design the technological architecture best suited to the client’s real needs. From video input configuration and electrical load analysis to the selection of the most effective installation and cabling solutions, every detail is carefully managed to ensure a coherent, reliable, and performance-oriented technological ecosystem.
COB (Chip On Board) technology delivers deeper blacks, higher contrast (up to 15,000:1), and greater visual uniformity. It also provides superior mechanical resistance and improved thermal efficiency, reducing energy consumption by up to 40%, making LED walls ideal for prolonged or even 24/7 use.
Absolutely. Thanks to the uniform surface of the KLCOB series and Touchwindow’s proprietary touch technologies, it is possible to integrate ultra-high-performance IR touch systems. This transforms the display into an Interactive LED Wall capable of handling more than 40 simultaneous touches for collaborative and multi-user activities.
Unlike LCD modules, LED walls are bezel-less, meaning they have no frames, ensuring complete image continuity without visual interruptions. They also provide significantly higher brightness, making them perfectly readable even in very bright environments such as halls and glass-fronted showrooms.
Yes. 4K LED wall systems with HDR10 technology represent the highest standard for auditoriums and boardrooms. Their modular design allows for customized formats (such as 32:9) that perfectly adapt to the architecture of the space, enhancing engagement during presentations and video calls.
Absen MicroLED systems installed by Touchwindow are designed for maximum reliability. Flip Chip technology doubles component reliability, while the optimized heat dissipation system prevents malfunctions, ensuring a highly competitive TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) over time.
